Drove up to Griffith Observatory earlier today.

The weather has been getting warmer and I was in need of something ice cold and refreshing today. I have never brewed ice coffee in my Chemex before until today. I found a really simple tutorial on how to cold brew coffee using a Chemex here. It is a Japanese method. I am no coffee expert but I would say it was a pretty successful brew!

I felt a little adventurous and decided to check out places beyond lb, oc & la. I headed to the boonies. I read & heard about Augie's Coffee House in Redlands. I stopped by and picked up a latte. It was really delicious! It is such a cute little coffee shop. The inside is very animated and artsy. I also checked out the shops nearby. I found an interesting mini antique mall. There were so many interesting items.
